Region IV Fall JAM Summit
In the fall, each of the six regions host a daylong leadership conference for member schools. These conferences will include a motivational speaker and several small breakout sessions presenting a variety of topics dealing with different leadership concepts/skills.
THIS YEAR’S SPEAKER: SCOTT BACKOVICH
Witty by nature, caring at heart: for Scott Backovich, this is merely the tip of the iceberg. Scott’s quirky yet powerful style and message speaks to students where they are, helping them to understand the true potential for change they hold.
Scott recognizes the monotonous cycle that students can undoubtedly fall into while in school, and has dedicated his life to helping them break it. By the age of 21, he had already presented to hundreds of thousands of students, been interviewed on television and other media publications, and gained positive recognition around the continent for his compelling message.
He’s been a featured speaker at conferences and schools across North America, appeared regularly on both television and radio as a teen help advocate, and established himself as a worldwide youth speaker that students can trust.
His stories connect. His lessons inspire. Best of all — Scott’s advice sticks.
SPECIAL ADVISOR BREAKOUT SESSION – ENVOLVE
ENVOLVE is an in-depth student leadership training designed to help schools create phenomenal student activities.
Imagine campuses where students actively want to participate; where students naturally agree to take part in optional activities without question or hesitation. Better yet, envision a range of activities that generate school spirit when and where it matters, supporting everyone who calls your campus home.
