Partners In Leadership

For over 76 years, the generosity of parents, businesses, schools, and alumni have created amazing opportunities for the student leaders of Wisconsin. In an effort to organize these amazing efforts, we have created a new program called Partners in Leadership. Its mission is to encourage the highest level philanthropy to the Wisconsin Association of School Councils while honoring those individuals, businesses, and organizations who are the WASC’s most generous annual donors. The Partners name reflects the substantial collaboration between those philanthropists and how their gifts make a meaningful difference in the quality of our programming and define the mission of the WASC. Leadership describes the social and professional profiles of our donors, as well as the WASC’s constant goal to be a preeminent student leadership organization.

Our Partners in Leadership are investors in the present and shareholders for our young people’s future.

Partners Making a Difference

Yearly, the Partners in Leadership contribute gifts and resources to fund an annual initiative. These funds are what make the difference between the WASC being a good organization and it being the highly recognized national student leadership organization that it has become. In all areas of its mission — empowerment, engagement and education– our Partners are helping the WASC provide the best in student leadership development for the young people of this state for today and tomorrow. The goal for 2012-13 is $6000 to provide keynote and breakout sectional speakers for the WASC JAM and SHS State Conferences.

Who are Our Partners?

They include local, regional and national businesses, grateful parents/families, WASC vendors, WASC alumni, member advisors and administrators, Foundation board members, committee members, and gifts from foundations, estates, and trusts.
