Hey WASC, my name is Max Harbick and I am a freshman at Appleton North High School. I first joined the WASC in seventh grade because my middle school advisor urged me to run for a regional position. I am very happy that she encouraged me to get involved, because WASC has greatly improved my leadership, time management, and communication skills. Recently, I ran a breakout session on citizenship at the virtual fall tour. Boy Scouts has made me very aware of what it means to be a good citizen and taught me that as a citizen of any community, I can enjoy the benefits, but also have duties and obligations to that community. We are all a part of many communities including, school, home, and the city we live in, and we should do whatever it takes to be a good member of those communities. This Holiday season, I am thankful for the support of my family and that I am a part of the amazing WASC Community!
