At Every Level of Camp
At WASC Leadership Camp, delegates (students) are led by trained camp staff in activities dedicated to understanding what it means to be an authentic leader. With a proven, time-tested curriculum as our foundation, delegates build unforgettable connections while growing their personal leadership potential.
- Banquet: Delegates dress up for this special evening affair, dining with peers and listening to inspiring keynote speeches from fellow delegates.
- Speaking Opportunities: Students practice vital presentation skills throughout the week, culminating in an evening where individuals address everyone at the banquet.
- Opening Sessions: Each day kicks off with high-energy activities designed to get every delegate energized and ready to seize the day.
- Evening Closings: Days conclude with reflection, inspiring stories, and camp songs led by adult and junior counselors.

Building a safe and successful leadership environment starts before camp even begins! Every student, volunteer, and staff member is required to review our official code of conduct, wellness policies, and safety rules.

All required staff documentation must be reviewed and signed electronically directly inside your digital application form. Your signature covers all legal agreements, including:

All applicants are required to upload a clean, high-resolution digital image of themselves.
π‘ Tip: Choose a bright, clear photo where your face is easily recognizable so directors can easily verify your staff profile database token. If selected, this picture will be used on social media for staff announcements.
3. Character References
First-time staff applicants only: Please be prepared to supply the formal names and contact email addresses of three professional or personal references.
WASC will reach out to these contacts to verify your background leadership character and suitability for working alongside youth delegations.
