The 2026 WASC State Conference for both JAM and SHS is scheduled for Sunday, April 19 - Monday, April 20, 2026 at the Madison Marriott West!

    Save the dates!

In order to continue developing the leadership skills of the young leaders of Wisconsin, the WASC has been hosting an annual State Conference since 1936.

The 2026 state conference will take place over two-days. The format for the conference will include competitions, elections for regional officers and advisors, motivational speakers, super sectionals, smaller group breakouts, a banquet, entertainment, and a closing ceremony.

    READ BEFORE REGISTERING!

    CONFERENCE REGISTRATION:

**The cost of the conference is $96.00/attendee for member schools including Advisors. The cost for non-member schools is $106/attendee including Advisors.

**All student participants must be able to show a Program Participation form upon registration. The student may use one from an earlier event this year. If needed, please download copy here, print copies, distribute to attendees, and bring hard copies for every attendee with you to State Conference. Program Participation Form

**You will not have to get a WASC release form signed, but you will have to check off that you've read our policy. You will also need to have checked your district's policy for any attendee who has not given permission to be photographed/videotaped and share that information on the registration form.

**For WASC to calculate the total payment for your group, you must enter a number of attendees when it asks for "additional guests" on the very bottom of the registration form. When figuring your number of "additional guests" include all the students attending AND all adults attending, with the exception of the person registering as the primary contact. Again, do NOT include the person filling out the registration with your total under "additional guests"; they will automatically be included in the cost of the event.

    HOTEL RESERVATIONS:

**Hotel rooms will be $121.00/room. The rooms are king-size with a roll out OR standard two queen beds. 4 guests/room

**You do not need to make your own reservation. Instead, you will need to make a copy of this Room Listing spreadsheet, fill it out, and return it to stateoffice@wasc.org. It is important on  the header of this spreadsheet to indicate your primary contact person and your method of payment. ***Please note that there are rooms listed as Double (meaning 2 Queen beds) and King with a pull out. The form limits the type of Double each school may have. You cannot change that on the spreadsheet.

**Along with this spreadsheet, you will also need to send verification of your school's tax exempt status, i.e, a scanned document or a screenshot of your verification card, to stateoffice@wasc.org. If you are paying your hotel invoice by credit card, the Marriott will send you a Credit Card Authorization form.

**The State Office will organize these and forward them to the Madison Marriott West. Room reservations can only be guaranteed if reserved by April 1, 2026.

    REFUND POLICY

    • A complete refund (less processing fee) will be made upon written request received fourteen business days prior to the conference. The participant fee (less incurred costs) will be refunded upon written request after the conference.

    • Any individual participant cancellation on site will have to pay the incurred costs/no show meals.

    • In the event of an example not covered above, a decision will be made by the Executive Director, in consultation with the CLC Executive Committee. All refund requests of that nature must be submitted in writing within thirty days after the Conference.

If you have any questions, please contact the office at stateoffice@wasc.org.

There are multiple options for payment and added requirements for registration this year, so please read the important notes below BEFORE starting your registration.

    ******************************************************************************************

    ***PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING***

    1. To assist in making the registration process more streamlined, you will find multiple forms embedded in the registration this year. That means you will only need to document the delegate's identifying information once and only sign once, versus filling out and signing multiple forms. When you encounter these forms while filling out the registration, please read them thoroughly. There is a section that asks you to sign off on all the forms linked within the registration with an electronic signature. All forms will be legally binding.

There will be additional forms from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point that will be sent to registrants at a date closer to the beginning of camp.

    2. Please note, WASC refers to  all camp attendees as "delegates".

    3. To complete the WASC Health form, which is linked as a Google form within the registration, you will need your insurance information, your medication list and your primary physician's name and phone number.

    4. This registration will not allow you to "re-do". Please finish the form fully, once you have started it.

    5. If the delegate is under 18 years of age, a parent must complete. Before you start completing the registration form, please have a parent nearby.

    6. Payment - There are multiple options this year for registration fees. The discount programs Loyalty and Loyalty Plus were instituted in 2023. Years of camp attended prior to that are not calculated in our discount prices. Also, please note that there is no stacking of discounts.  You will need to choose the one best pricing option for your delegate.

    1. Camp registration - $515.00

    2. Early bird registration - $485.00 (available until 4.15.26)

    3. Pre-registrants - This option is for those who have previously pre-registered for camp. You will need a code to register. It should have already been shared with you.

    4. Plan2Lead - This option is available to any registrant and allows payments to be spread out over time. You MUST register for Plan2Lead prior to registering for camp. For more information and to sign up, click here. After you sign up, you will receive a communication from the State Office regarding the payment plan.

***For the following discounts, registrants will have to choose between them and early bird registration.

    5. Legacy discount - Do you have a parent who attended camp? If so, choose Legacy discount when registering.

    6. Loyalty discount - Did you go to camp in 2025 for the first time and 2026 will be your second year of camp? If so, choose the Loyalty discount. You will need a code to register; it should have been sent to the email used for registration in 2025.

    7. Loyalty discount PLUS - Will this be your THIRD or more year of camp? If so, choose the Loyalty PLUS option. You will need a code to register; it should have been sent to the email used for registration in 2025.

    7. We prefer payment via credit card (Visa or Mastercard or a Debit Card) to complete this transaction. There are no additional fees for this service! If your student is planning on receiving a scholarship, we will issue reimbursements once the scholarship check is received.

    8. If attending Level 3, additional forms for the ropes course will also be sent to you after registration. These forms should be printed, completed and brought with delegate to camp.

    9.  Refund policy:

    • A complete refund (less processing fee) will be made upon written request received fourteen business days prior to the conference. The participant fee (less incurred costs) will be refunded upon written request after the conference.

    • Any individual participant cancellation on site will have to pay the incurred costs/no show meals.

    • In the event of an example not covered above, a decision will be made by the Executive Director, in consultation with the CLC Executive Committee. All refund requests of that nature must be submitted in writing within thirty days after the Conference.

If you have any questions, please contact the office at stateoffice@wasc.org.

What the 2025 Discovery Day attendees said:

"Attending Discovery Day was such an impactful experience! It was inspiring to see so many student leaders in action at WASC Camp—collaborating, problem-solving, and leading with passion. I walked away with fresh ideas and meaningful strategies that I’m excited to bring back and implement with our own Student Council. It was a great reminder of the power of student voice and leadership in creating positive change." - Misi Kandel, Pilgrim Park MS
